I am moving soon and this women on craigslist has an aussie puppy that is 7 weeks, we won’t be moving for about another month. Which would make the puppy about 3 months old. Would that be a good age to get the puppy at?

I heard that boy dogs tend to run away from home to meet with their girl.
But I don’t want a girl puppy, because they get periods and babies. When they get their periods, they bark like crazy.
What would you have picked and what are the pros and cons of a boy puppy&girl puppy?

I have a 5 and a half week old puppy, a 3 year old dog and a year old cat. The older dog and the cat get along OK but the cat wants to “play” with the puppy by attacking her. He grabs her and kicks with his back claws. We had his front claws taken out (He is strictly an indoor cat, I am allergic to his claws), but the vet refused to remove the back claws. I have been scolding the cat for playing with the puppy this way and the puppy even does her little growl at him. Does any one have any suggestions?

Ok, so I have a puppy that had parvo. On the way to the vet, the puppy defecated completely liquid diarrhea in the passenger seat of my car. Considering I was traveling down the highway at the time, I had to wait until the next exit to stop, so most of the liquid had soaked in. I have tried to clean the seat, and although the seat cover has come clean, the smell is still unbearable leading me to believe that it has rooted into the foam. Is there any way to get rid of the smell or am I going to have to replace the whole seat? By the way, the puppy made it through treatment and looks as if he will survive.
